These photos are of the most popular kitchens on Houzz in 2018, and white painted cabinets are still the most popular look! The trend toward dark painted islands also seems to be gaining steam — they’re featured in more than half of the kitchens in this year’s top 10 photos. Even dark painted cabinets are becoming more popular but wood cabinets are nowhere to be seen. Even the one photo that looks like wood is matte metal painted finish. If you are selling you home the best advice is still to paint your wood cabinets white. It will make them look current and will help your kitchen look larger.
